A project is built around a single, clearly defined outcome, something like standing up an employee handbook, building a staffing roadmap, or setting up leadership dashboards. Before we start, you know exactly what’s included, what it costs and when it’s finished.
Fixed Hours · Fixed Time · Fixed Goals
Retained work is a dedicated resource, part of your team for a set period, built around specific goals rather than a single deliverable. Engagements run in 3, 6 or 9 month cycles, at 10, 20 or 30 hours per week, with the goals for that period agreed upfront. They can extend as those goals evolve, but they’re never open-ended.
