Before anything is scoped or priced, we listen.

Every engagement follows our process, from the first conversation to the final delivery.

Three meetings, all before the statement of work is drafted.

Before issuing a proposal, setting a price or drafting a statement of work, we meet three times. The fixed scope and fixed price we commit to are possible because we take the time to understand what is needed before we agree to deliver it..

1

Introductions

Purpose: Mutual understanding

This call is about orientation and rapport. The goal is to understand the company, the team, and what brought the client here. The consultant listens for how the challenge is described — whether it’s a symptom or a root cause, and whether this is an HR challenge, an operations challenge, or both.

This is not a pitch, and it is not a diagnosis. It is a conversation. If there’s a clear fit, a Step 2 call is scheduled.

2

Deep Dive

Purpose: Understand the full context of the issue or project

This is where the conversation goes beneath the surface. The gap between how a company thinks it works and how it actually works gets mapped — across operations, people, systems, and culture.

By the end of this call, the service direction is clear — HR, operations, or both — along with what still needs to be heard before scope can be committed to responsibly.

3

Team-Inclusive Discovery Call

Required for every engagement

Fixed scope and fixed price are only possible when the people closest to the problem have been heard — not just the person at the top. Step 3 brings in the project owner and affected team members so that anything affecting scope, price, or timeline is surfaced before the SOW is signed.

This step is never skipped. Scope surprises discovered after an SOW is signed are expensive for everyone. Step 3 makes sure there are none.

From findings to delivery — every step defined.

Statement of Work

The statement of work defines exactly what is included, what is not, the project scope, the timeline and the investment. Obligations are written out explicitly. Once we have both reviewed and agreed, the statement of work is signed.

Scope changes after signing require a written change order.

Kickoff Meeting

The kickoff meeting brings the project team together for the first time. We walk through the plan for how the work will happen, including timelines, milestones, what we do, what you do and what success looks like.

Both the Human Resources and Operations consultants attend to share full support.

Regular Updates

At least twice a week throughout the engagement, you receive a written update covering what has been accomplished, anything we need from you and what is coming next.

Full transparency, start to finish.

Midpoint Check-In

A scheduled working session to confirm the work is on the right path and address any course corrections before delivery.

– Projects 3 weeks or less: one check-in at the 50% milestone

– Projects longer than 3 weeks: check-ins at both 50% and 75%

Final Delivery

We present the completed work to you and your team. All project files, documents and materials are transferred, and together we confirm that everything in the statement of work has been delivered.

30-Day Follow-Up

Within 30 days of final delivery, we follow up to make sure the work is functioning as intended, answer any questions that have come up and address anything that needs attention.
