Ahn & Associates was originally founded by our father, a structural engineer who believed that a building’s foundation determined whether the people inside could truly flourish. We grew up watching our parents build that firm on the values of hard work, family, and security—the same foundational elements that drive many immigrant families. When we decided to join forces, we took the name A&A to honor that legacy. While our father focused on physical structures, we focus on organizational ones.

We are two sisters combining senior expertise in Human Resources and Operations because we’ve seen that you can’t scale one effectively without the support of the other. Our goal is to help small to mid-sized companies ready to move past “informal” systems and build the professional infrastructure they need to grow safely. We operate on a simple mantra: Fixed Price, Fixed Scope, and Fixed Timeline. By bringing our two cultures and two disciplines together, we provide the clarity and stability your business needs to reach the next level.

Lourdes Ahn

Principal Human Resources Consultant
30 years as a strategic Human Resources leader, including 15+ years in the C-suite and three years as CEO.

Lourdes has spent her career at the intersection of people strategy and organizational growth. She has built Human Resources infrastructure for companies at every stage, from pre-revenue startups to $200M growth companies and global enterprises with over a billion dollars in revenue.

Most recently, Lourdes led global Human Resources at Innova Medical Group, a $5B+ international medical device company. Before that, she served as Managing Partner with a Human Resources specialty at ADC Holdings and as CEO of Upshoot, where she brought both the leadership and the operational perspective to her work.

Her approach has always been the same: Human Resources done right is not administrative. It is how a company makes decisions, builds accountability and sustains a culture as it grows.

Lourdes holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley. Outside of work, she is an outdoor enthusiast who sails and recently completed her first half marathon.

Lucy Ahn

Principal Operations Consultant
20+ years building operational infrastructure across startups, nonprofits and Fortune 500 enterprises including NBC Universal and Sony Pictures.

Lucy has spent her career building the operational infrastructure that lets organizations function as well as they aspire to. She has worked across entertainment, nonprofits, consumer goods and professional services, building systems at every scale from the ground up.

Her career includes a Director role at NBC Universal, as well as key operational roles at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Singleton Foundation. As Managing Director at 2G Studios, the creative Operations division of The Gary Group, she started up the Entertainment and web production division.

Lucy studied English Literature and Art at the University of La Verne and Cal State Los Angeles. She is fluent in English and Spanish and holds professional training in Pastry and Baking from Le Cordon Bleu Pasadena. Outside of work, her passions include baking and exploring California’s state and national parks.
